Disclaimer: as per the rules I just want to say this is not an illegal activity. Adblockers are legal, therefore this is legal. It's just another way to see content without seeing ads.
I've seen a couple links on the front page in the last couple of days that quickly lock out the reader if they have an adblocker enabled. I'll be using this link from the front page as an example.
After loading the page, if you have an adblocker, you'll quickly see a screen like this
Before that pops up if you right-click on the text, your browser will have a menu option that includes something like 'Inspect'. Clicking on that will bring up the HTML code for the page.
It will be 'open' to the section of code that contains the writing. 99% of the time it will be contained in a bunch of <p> (paragraph) HTML tags. The section will look something like this (I put an arrow showing a <p> tag).
If you click where the arrow is it will open up the tag and show it's content .
Obviously, it isn't quite as nice to look at as the normal article, but if you've ever been really interested in an article and the website insists you turn off your ad blocker to view it this will often enable you to see the content anyway!
Mileage will vary depending on the website, the coding structure, and how quickly they make the popup happen... but it's always worth a shot!
